Easy Street Recumbents is hosting the first annual Heart of Texas Catrike rally April 16th - 18th, 2010, in sunny Austin, Texas. Registration is $60 for the weekend, per person. Attendees get discounted hotel rates close to the shop, convenient trike storage at Easy Street, a discounted happy hour/dinner on opening night, deals on trike parts, a commemorative T-Shirt, two free raffle tickets, free Saturday night buffet with entertainment, and other stuff that we'll think of.

All cyclists, whatever they ride, are welcome.

Friday

Trike checkover when you pick up your welcome pack, including a goodie bag with fun freebies

Friday Evening

Happy hour & dinner close to the hotel

Saturday morning

Goofing around at the Austin Veloway, time trials for all ages and abilities

Ride around Circle C neighborhood, with a lemonade stop

Saturday afternoon and evening

Informational seminars at Easy Street with Mike Librik, Mark Egeland of Catrike, Robin Stallings of BikeTexas, and maybe more

Prizes awarded for time trials winners

Drawing for great Catrike compatible prizes

Ride to food and entertainment

Sunday morning

Ride through central Austin to the Stevie Ray Vaughan memorial

Sunday afternoon

Join in on Easy Street's yearly 'Bent Event all-recumbent celebration

Accommodations

We have reserved group rates ($20 off per night) at the Courtyard Austin Central, 5660 N IH-35, 78752. Please make your hotel reservation directly with them by calling (512) 458-2340, and tell them you are with the Heart of Texas Catrike Rally.

You can also register by mail (download the mail-in registration form here), by calling us at (512) 453-0438, or by visiting us in person at Easy Street Recumbents.

Registration must be received by April 1st to be guaranteed a T-shirt. Extra t-shirts can be ordered for $15 each. Contact us by phone or email with shirt size and color if you want an extra.

You may purchase non-triking guest tickets to the rally. These will entitle your guest to view the trike events as a spectator, attend the information session, and join us for the buffet and entertainment Saturday night.
